It seems as though everyone went nuts over Balmain. While I do like some of the outfits (particularly the jackets -- minus the weird shoulders, of course), a lot of it reminded me of Bebe or something. I would KILL for the shoes though.

I want to either be very well off when I'm older or marry rich right now, so that I can outfit myself in lovely little Chanel suits when it's appropriate.

I like the CONCEPT of big, gaudy, shiny jewelry. But if you see these images enlarged it just looks tacky.

Limi Feu

The last row of images are my favorites. Very limited in terms of color. I adore how the skirts are paired with boots.

Louis Vuitton

Love a lot of the individual pieces, but the color palette had me thinking I was looking at a fall collection for a second. Also, spot my favorite Brazilian model in the last row.

Luella

A spring collection that isn't afraid to look like it. So sweet & the pastel tones remind me of candy.

Rag & Bone

I love when girls dress like boys, but in female-flattering cuts.

My top 3 would have to be: Ann Demeulemeester, Charles Anastase & either Luella or Limi Feu. But probably Luella because AD already covers the black/white thing.

In random & completely unrelated news .. I created a Facebook account for the sole purpose of contacting a couple people who I needed to reach (my phone is again on a little hiatus). Then a girl whose ex-boyfriend (they were already broken up, to clarify) I hooked up with once tried to add me. Hm I kind of hope she never knew.

I'm using some really sketchy internet that likes to randomly disappear, so hopefully this gets posted.

Overall, NOT a fan. I can usually dig the campy factor in her designs, but I'm just not feeling this. One thing I have to say though: some of it reminds me of little lolita Natalie Portman in Léon (loved her & Jean Reno in this film, by the way). Particularly this look with the short dark hair, black choker & dark glasses:

So I Should Just Regret It.

A few, quick things to jot down:

one. 115.8 lbs, HA! I'll take it. Except I really miss my butt / boobs; when I sit on the ground, my bones hurt & all my strapless dresses fall straight to my hips. Whyyyyy stick to my legs but desert me in the places I need it most??

two. Boys are assholes & make un-funny jokes about situations / issues I'm still incredibly sensitive about. Too bad. I really need to get laid.

three. Quick trip next weekend to San Francisco. Must remember to pack (luggage: clothes, toiletries; handbag: distractions).

four. Always keep them on their toes.

five. Yes I am the motherfucking CIA. I won't take that kind of treatment lying down & PAHLEEEEZE stop acting as though you're so innocent. Do I really need to remind you that not ONLY have you stooped to my level (in the very recent past even), you've managed to fuck with my head TWICE in the span of two months. Come on, what am I? Some kind of idiot?

six. I've started making the cake from that softies kit .. & I really need some non-sucky, felt cuttable scissors. So far all I've done is cut the little pieces out. I'll do the actual sewing soon.

It comes in silver or 14k vermeil gold & the full length version is too long (in my opinion, as it stretches across all your fingers & who needs that?). The difference in price between the silver & 14k is twenty-one dollars I think.

Why Did I Buy This Again?

The other night I bought a scale. I really wish I hadn't sprung for the fancy one that tells me my body fat percentage, water percentage (?) & how many calories I've got (????????). It only makes me feel worse about the fact I gained weight.

Note to self: Lose 4 pounds

When I was 112-ish my mom thought I was too skinny. Secretly, I think she's terrified I'll weigh less than her AND be taller than her. She's kind of weirdly competitive with me. Actually, she's just weird. When I was eight she told me I had a big butt & I clearly recall that instance making me hyper self-conscious about it for years. When I let myself get chubby she says I look good. When I'm at a normal weight she demands I start eating more. It's actually a pain in the ass. I wish she'd stop trying to compare us.
