Sincere ❥ Imposter
According to weather.com, the rest of the week is going to be sunny. But I've learned better than to trust them (& mapquest). That doesn't mean I won't cross my fingers. I do hope it'll be nice this afternoon because I want to take my puppy on her first walk EVERRR.
This was taken.. last month? Before she got a cut. She's a little fat, rolypoly, chubster. Which reminds me, some lady at Petco suggested a new brand of puppy food (that specializes in small breeds & has specific food for yorkies, shih tzus, etc). I mixed it in with some of her old food so as not to freak out her baby system (& so she'd eat it, but she's a fucking garbage disposal.. she eats everything from pencils to magazines to any makeup I leave within reach, much to my dismay). Except she threw it up fifteen minutes later. Hmm. I don't know if I should continue with it. Maybe just one more day.
I have to go to the mall later to pick up some things. God I hope it's not crowded. Nowadays I only go to the mall if I actually need anything or if I'm going to Johnny Rockets (mm #12 with a turkey patty, no pickles, extra extra sauce). But when there's a lot of people I get claustrophobic (also why I hate elevators).
I'm currently looking into ING Direct & honestly I hate having to worry about these things. I guess I really am a brat. But I'm doing it anyway because I have an entire future to think about & well.. I'd like it to be a secure one. (Umm can someone please tell my boyfriend that despite being two years older than me, he is NOT fucking twenty years wiser & that I'm not some vapid airhead because he's really not getting the message) Man do I miss being eight years old.
Food
Yesterdayyy I had a giant blueberry muffin, a Caribou bar (Caramel High), some of a giant chocolate muffin, two bottles of water, miso soup, salmon teriyaki with rice & a salad, a quail egg shooter, half a piece of inari & two cups of green tea. After dinner I nearly threw up. It's weird because Japanese food is the only thing that never gets me nauseous (which is actually WHY I chose to eat it yesterday). Then again I did eat far too much. Food coma at its very worst.
Right now I'm sipping on some green tea & munching on a Caribou bar. Ughh.. During this kind of a week I either eat too much or feel too sick to eat at all. I hate being female at this time. I keep eyeing that carving knife. Anyway. J gave me some Kombucha to try, but I haven't yet. I still love my green tea. I also picked up this box of peach tea a while ago that I've forgotten about. I haven't been taking my vitamins & supplements.
I really need to quit stuffing my face & remember to eat regularly. I have such messed up eating habits. When I'm under a lot of stress & am too busy, I take up a lot of candy & caffeine (in the form of coffee or tea) with only the occasional bite or two of real food. If I'm bored, sometimes I'll munch on snacks (bad bad idea). When I get really lazy to cook & don't want to go out to eat, I won't have anything at all (or I'll grab something sweet). When I let myself get REALLY hungry, naturally I tend to overeat when I finally get my hands on something.
Drinking water like crazy is so backfiring on me. It's all I have nowadays except for the occasional tea or juice. But I think it's making me FAT. Plus I need to run to the bathroom every fifteen minutes. Kind of inconvenient when you think about it, but sometimes that's the only exercise I'll get all day, haha.
Another thing that sucks about this time of the month is that I'm SO tired all the time. I just want to go to sleep for years.
Eyewear
I broke my stupid Anne Klein "tortoise shell" glasses (somehow the thing connecting to the sides bent & I've taken it apart so it's just sitting on my desk) & I've been shopping around (of course) for some new ones.
OBVIOUSLY a couple Christian Dior frames. I really shouldn't get expensive glasses. With me they tend to have a shelf life of one year at best. Seriously, I manage to have the worst luck with them. My black Anne Klein's were the best & longest lasting. I miss them. So classic too.
Normally I only like straight up black frames. There was that one stint in middle school where I had these hella tight ice blue ones. & My latest pair of course, since they didn't have the same black plastic ones for me to replace it with, I had to settle for tortoise shell (loathe). Anyway, I was going to say, before my mini rant, that I actually like these Bvlgari frames in green. The red version looks pretty awesome as well & I'd probably get the red or black ones if it came down to it.
Ahh why couldn't Prada make these in black? & In the case that they do, why doesn't LensCrafters carry them. Haha. I had an eye exam (for contacts) at Costco, but I kind of prefer my regular optometrist from LensCrafters, this nice Indian woman who remembers me.
Obviously this would lead me to sunglasses. I'm so predictable.
At first I couldn't stand the buckle detail on these Fendi aviators because it looked like a belt strap on your face.. But I've grown to rather like them now (but not enough to buy them thank god).
See, my problem with shades is that 1) I have a ROUND face = lack of cheekbones (how did BOTH my parents have cheekbones but not me??) & 2) that face is flat, thank you Filipino nose. But even though I have no cheekbones, I still have hella baby fat so my chubby cheeks hold up my shades.
I like how these aren't overwhelmingly huge on the face, which happens to be a problem for me. Guys, like Steve, seem to be in sheer amazement of the size of the shades whenever they see them. Thaaaaaanks.

That Lacoste dress is fucking heavenly. Wish I had the legs for it. And your puppy is an adorable little tyke. Hope she feels better about the food.
;) I need new glasses as well. I was eyeing these chanel bad boys though.
http://www.sunglassesitaly.com/Productsview.asp?key=860 Why is eyewear so expensive?
I so desperately want some new frames. I saw a pair from Versace that I liked, and another that I (think) may have been Gucci. Of course -- way out of my budget. Like always. I envy your blueberry muffin and Japanese to my half-cup of green tea and peach & one starburst. =[ I want some new expensive sunglasses too. You know, basically, anything which falls under the "exorbitantly priced & completely unnecessary" category.
