Never Fall In Love With A Body Double.
I still don't have an actual plan with steps & everything. I'm continue to wing it with the pretense that I know what's going on in my own life. I'm still not answering calls to the house (sorry mom) & lord only knows where my phone went, but neither of those are new developments. However I'm rediscovering my fascination with Serge Gainsbourg & his penchant for making highly sexual music with beautiful women (what other way is there anyway).
Another "Want It" list.
Dior Soft Lady Dior East/West Bag (fuschia)
Topstitched with
the cannage pattern (from the original wicker chairs in the first Dior
showroom), Dior's lovely little handbag is utterly refined and elegant
in shape and style. Polished silver metal Dior charms and two rounded
leather handles top off the luncheon charm.
• Calf leather with tonal cannage pattern embroidery
• Polished silver metal hardware
• Rolled leather handles with shiny links; 3" drop
• Dior charms dangling from one handle
• Zipper closure with leather pull-tab
• Dior logo textile lining with zipped pocket
• Protective metal feet
• 10" x 5" x 3.75"
Pretty pretty color. It's such a fun, cute bag.
Dior Western Leather Ballerina
• Smooth leather upper with tonal topstitching
• Leather strap with antiqued silver metal Dior buckle and tiny key charm
• Round toe
• Slightly elasticized sides
• Padded leather insole
• Rubber sole
Heh I just get a kick out of these. Err.. no pun intended. I don't think I'd actually wear them because they don't look like there's much material AT ALL. & I hate feeling the ground because of too little material under my feet.
Dior Plastic Aviator Sunglasses
Dior modernizes the classic aviator with curved and beveled plastic frames. Chic and oversized with silver metal Dior logo at temples, they complement most face shapes and make a fantastic accessory to warm-weather wear.
• Large aviator-style plastic frames
• Polished silver metal Dior logo at temples
Oh my god. Lusting, lusting over these. I saw a pair of Marc Jacobs aviators that were pretty damn awesome as well. I really want these though. I need a new pair of black sunglasses because I don't know what happened to my cheapy Urban Outfitters pair.
Osiris Clouds
Reminds me of candy. Yum. I love shoes that would've attracted me when I was a kid. Basically anything bright, cute or crazy looking. Which reminds me, boyfriend bought me an ice cream from the ice cream truck cuz he knew I was jonesing for one of those popsicles that were characters & had gum for eyes (it was a Bratz one). Why are they always so much better in memory??
Sugar Flava Platforms
A couple summers back I was hella into Sugar belted flats. I still love them, but realized it was ridiculous to be stocking up as if they'd suddenly never produce another pair. Still.. it's hard to ignore previous obsessions. I'd like to buy a replacement pair because my first one is pretty much worn out from overusage.
BC Yours for the Taking
I love flats. Honestly I prefer being barefoot, but seeing how it's not feasible to be walking around like that all the time, flip flops & flats are a nice option too. The teal are my favorite.
Hello Kitty Halter Bikini
Current aim: lose the double chin & jelly rolls. Yea fun. Gotta get down from size 4s already. ]:
Yum Yum Belly
Hello Kitty Martini
1/2 oz Gin
1 1/2 oz Peach Schnapps
Directions: Add the ingredients into a martini glass pouring over crushed ice. Stir well then garnish the glass with a strawberry (Hello Kitty bow).
Haha I would so try this. Although I'm not a big fan of gin.
I've been dying for a Slurpee for a while now. But lately it's been much to cold to justify a trip down to 7-11 for that. But ohh it's chilled sweetness haunts me. Mmm...
The Hills Weekly Rant
Ohh I always fall for those teasers at the end of the show. I wanted the Lauren / ugly-brunette standoff to have more tears & maybe Lauren smacking that girl (is her last name really Bunney? I thought it was just some "clever" nickname Spencer gave her). But the surprises in behavior! Ugly brunette girl needs to quit the innocent act. Lowering your voice & shooting puppy eyes while frowning don't make your multiple "I'm sorry's" & blatant attempts at passing off blame any more convincing. It was a little (a lot) annoying that Brody was suddenly exonerated of any wrongdoing, because to my understanding it takes at least two people to hook up. & I doubt that gangly brunette could physically force him to do anything he didn't want. What's that guy's appeal anyway? They only ever show him spouting off cheesy, corn ball lines like you'd expect from Spencer (I wonder if they trade tricks since they're friends & all). I swear if he starts speaking in third person I'm going to cut him. I'm starting to like Heidi a tiny bit again: she's taking Lauren's side on the whole deal (let's just pretend for a minute that she wasn't basically abetting the backstabbing hook up). Heidi saying no to Spencer's offer (in the preview) is also points. Then again, in the actual episode it could show her reverting to submissive-girlfriend mode after Spencer "decides" she needs to get out of the car. Wow that guy does not handle rejection well. I guess if, after my hard work manipulating a spoiled brat, nothing came to fruition I would be upset too. Regardless, she really does seem to be making an effort with Lauren (who predictably ran to Audrina when she thought Heidi ditched her). How old is Whitney by the way? She looks so young. & pretty. (Shit I'm young & I'm pretty baby..) Even if she can't seem to finish her sentences. Speaking of Whitney I feel pretty bad for her in the Good Morning America show slip up. Poor thing. Must've been embarrassing. Also what the hell, Spencer seemed almost human. But that could've been due to the fact he was hardly in this episode (hmm could be a favorite). His birthday toast was definitely weird. Referencing his personal beef with the bday girl & "the love of his life..." multiple times in his five line speech is bizarre. Lauren put it simply: "Just say happy birthday!" Oh & scary NY intern is apparently making an appearance next week. GO WHITNEY!
3rd Street Promenade
Hit up Santa Monica with B the other day despite the less than appealing weather (damn you mapquest & weather.com). I made sure to bring a sweater. It's very pretty at night with those lights, but on an overcast day everything looks pretty dreary. I got him to cave & buy his first A&F sweater. Just because. The annoying man hired to spray cologne in every crevice of the store ought to be fired & shot. Seriously. That stuff gave me a headache. We went to the pier for food & I don't suggest anyone try to get fancy & ask for specifics... because you'll get it the same way it states on the menu anyway. Oh stay away from crab nachos. Eckk. Getting TO places has proven to be relatively easy for me. It's just returning that's the problem. Maybe it's because I didn't write directions going back? Whatever. Somehow we ended up lost downtown or in east LA.. I'm not sure. But driving made me tiredddd. I hate driving. I need a chauffeur. I've continued to prove that I am deaf ("I need to stop being bulimic!" No seriously, that's what I heard) as well as stupid. We had Starbucks because my feetsies needed a rest & a very chatty, very nicotine-addicted girl kept making conversation. She wasn't quite the master of subtlety (as made evident by her eye roll, proud proclamation of having "the hiv" [pronounced just like that. Hivvvvv] in front of a complete stranger & oddly enough being insulted by my very TRUE statement that she did not, in fact, know me). Went home & umm slept early cuz I was hella tired.
Movies
Trailer for Pirates 3 here. I already talked about this, so you don't need to hear this twice. Haha. But yeah it better answer my questions because I don't like leaving the theater with a "WTF?" kind of feeling.
